UNUSUAL VINTAGE SILVER PLATED PUDDING SPOONS & SERVER This is a nice looking set by Francis Howard of Sheffield comprising of a main serving spoon and 8x pudding spoons. They have very unusual shaped bowls. All gleaming silver, no dents or damage, average but not excessive use marks. One bowl has some feint tarnish spots to interior. LARGE GERMAN SILVER ON COPPER WINE COOLER BUCKET This is a larger than usual silver plated on copper wine/champagne cooler, early c.20th. Overall gleaming silver with some patchy plate wear. VINTAGE HALFMOON 6 PLACE CUTLERY FLATWARE CHEST CANTEEN This is a very nice shape early 1920’s empty flatware & cutlery chest for 6 place settings + carvers. All pieces are ‘easy fit’ as there are no fixed length slots, so it should suit most people. Has its key and the lock works fine. There are a few cosmetic cracks to the side veneer (main one is through the lock area) but they don’t detract too much. VINTAGE DAVID-ANDERSEN SILVER ENAMEL GLASS CRUET SET A lovely looking vintage cruet set from Norway, the salt and pepper pots having guilloche enamel on sterling silver gilt in a nice eggshell blue and royal blue. The base tray is silver plated. One pot has a small corner chip to its base, the other a small chip to a vertical edge facet. Neither of these are that noticeable. The enamelwork is fine and intact, some tarnish to the silver. Base tray is gleaming silver with no dents or damage and just a few tiny plate spots. GBP99.99 click here to view item in our store
STERLING SILVER CUT GLASS SHAKER CASTOR W&H 1950 A vintage cut glass and sterling silver sugar castor by Walker & Hall, fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1950. Great for strawberries! No real damage to the glass just some tiny and insignificant fleabites. The silver lid does have some overall shallow dents but is still good and tight to the collar. SOLID STERLING SILVER CANDELABRA DUBLIN 1967 1904g This is a heavy sterling silver candelabra fully hallmarked for Dublin 1967-1968 and with import marks for Sheffield 1966-1967 and the Sheffield Assay Office’s sponsors mark. This is ‘real silver weight’ – i.e. it is not filled or weighted with lead etc. the drip trays and sconces unscrew and each removable part is hallmarked as it should be. PAIR STERLING SILVER CANDLESTICKS BIRMINGHAM 1919 A pair of sterling silver candlesticks of plain columnar form with weighted bases. One clearly fully hallmarked for 1919, to the other the hallmarks are rubbed. Some small knocks/shallow dents but both stand well enough and look very nice. SOLID STERLING SILVER HARRODS SALVER TRAY 1912 621g A good sterling silver salver fully hallmarked for Sheffield 1912 and made by Harrods Stores Ltd (Richard Burbridge). It has a small engraving to centre of a single initial ‘C’ and 1887-1912, so presumably was a silver wedding anniversary present. No dents or damage, very minor surface marks. LARGE ANTIQUE STERLING SILVER JEWELLERY BOX 1909 A very nice sized sterling silver jewellery box by Charles S Green & Co Ltd, fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1909. The interior is lined in greed velvet. No monograms etc. Two feet have push dents but both are intact, this causes a slight wobble on the flat but its not a huge issue. Some shallow dents to lid. STERLING SILVER PIN CUSHION BIRMINGHAM 1913 A larger sterling silver pin cushion fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1913, in need of some TLC. Filled base. The velvet obviously needs replacing and some of the cork is a little worn away. Some small dents to the silver. With a little work it will be a very nice piece. SUPERB ORNATE VICTORIAN 4 PIECE SILVER PLATED TEASET This is a very beautiful late Victorian 4 piece set made by Kleinwort & Peerless of London. Very nicely bright cut with classical wreath, foliate scrolls and wheelwork decoration and nicely fluted uppers and spouts. Gilt interiors to the bowl and milk jug. Teapot is approx 2 pints capacity. All are gleaming silver, one minor dent to the sugar bowl and one to the water pot. A couple of minor surface knocks elsewhere but no significant dents. Some tea tarnish to pot interior. Some extremely minor plate wear and some surface scratches but it doesn’t really notice much or detract. It’s a splendid looking and exceptional quality set. BEAUTIFUL STERLING SILVER MINIATURE BONBON BASKET 1911 This is a very fine looking piece of novelty silver by the Alexander Clark Co of Regent Street, London. Fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1911, raised on 4 ball feet with pierced work body and beaded rim decoration. The handle swings nicely and stays upright. No dents or damage. There is a possible historic solder repair to the underside of one of the handle hinges but it may just have been made that way – it isn’t visible unless you examine it thoroughly etc. GBP99.99 click here to view item in our store

ORNATE ANTIQUE SILVER PLATED 3 PIECE TEASET A very nice looking 3 piece set with bright cut decoration. The teapot is approx 1.5 pints capacity. Gleaming silver, one small insignificant knock to the milk jug at body below the spout area and a small knock to the teapot spot end otherwise no dents. The sugar bowl has a small patch of plate wear to body near a handle. The milk jug has some plate wear to interior. Teapot interior fairly clean. All pieces have some minor surface tarnish. SILVER PLATED SERVING PLATTER CROWNED ARMORIALS A very fine looking and unusual serving platter by Roberts & Belk of Sheffield, incorporating a holder for a small sauce boat. It is nicely engraved with 2 armorial devices, a crowned castle keep and a crowned conjoined initials ‘LM’. No dents or damage, gleaming silver, no plate wear, minor surface marks. VINTAGE SILVER PLATED LION MASK WINE BOTTLE HOLDER A nice looking vintage silver plated wine bottle holder with pierced work body and lion mask and ring handles. Will easily accommodate a standard sized wine/champagne bottle. Overall gleaming silver with some slight copper bleed mainly to the 2 lions and some minor surface marks to exterior. No dents.
