LOVELY ANTIQUE CASED SILVER PLATED TEATIME SPOON SET Item #26933 This is a very nice late c.19th cased set of ornate silver plated small teaspoons, tongs, preserve spoon and butter knife by Walker & Hall of Sheffield. All in good order, gleaming silver and not too heavily used. One small spot of verdigris to the sugar nips. Case has some minor marks and scuffs from storage. GBP29.99 click here to view item in our store
VINTAGE SILVER PLATED LINDISFARNE ICE BUCKET Item #26934 A nice and unusual piece in the Celtic ‘Lindisfarne’ pattern, this is a small ice bucket with lion mask handles complete with lid and internal removable drip tray. Made by J.B. Chatterley & Sons of Sheffield No dents or damage, gleaming silver, no plate wear other than minor wear from where the mask rings have rubbed the surface, minor surface marks GBP39.99 click here to view item in our store
ANTIQUE SILVER PLATED CAKE STAND SHEFFIELD Item #26935 This is a nice silver plated cake stand suitable for a 7 inch cake but could be used for serving cup cakes etc. Made by Martin Hall & Co of Sheffield and will date c. 1910. Has some utensil marks to surface from use but obviously wont be seen when in use as intended, could be covered with a paper doily. One small dent to the foot rim but doesn’t affect its sturdiness. Some very minor plate wear to the rim and some more visible wear to the underside of the surface but it isn’t visible when right way up. GBP24.99 click here to view item in our store
VERY UNUSUAL OLD ENGLISH SHELL SOUP SPOONS SHEFFIELD Item #26940 An unusual set of antique silver plated soup spoons in the hard to find Old English Shell pattern, these have a left hand side lip to bowl rims. ANTIQUE MOTHER OF PEARL SILVER PLATED FORK & KNIFE Item #26942 Here are 2 nice pieces sold together. 1 is a pickle fork with nicely spiral twist carved mother of pearl handle and ornate ferrule, the other a butter knife with bright cut engraved decoration Both in fine condition, gleaming silver, no plate wear, no damage to handles. GEORGE III STERLING SILVER INKWELL STANDISH BOTTLES Item #26944 Here is a set of 4 early c.19th square based bottles from a desktop standish, they have sterling silver lids but unfortunately the hallmarks are very rubbed, you can just make out a partial George III duty mark to 3 lids and see about a quarter of a makers mark to one lid. Definitely sterling silver. Lids weigh a total of 69g. Bottles have smoothed pontil undersides. No major damage just the odd fleabite to base rims. BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE MOTHER OF PEARL 24 PIECE CANTEEN Item #26945 This is a fine set of 12 pairs of dessert knives and forks with beautifully carved mother of pearl handles and ornate vine ferrules and vine engraving to front and back of blades. Comes with a later butter knife. Gleaming silver, no plate wear, no dents. Glass has a couple of tiny chips but they are very hard to find. VERY HEAVY STERLING SILVER TEXTURED NAPKIN RINGS 1979 Item #26952 A pair of exceptionally heavy modernist sterling silver napkin rings by Cooper Brothers with bark textured surfaces, very much in the style of Gerald Benney. Fully hallmarked for Sheffield 1979. No monograms or engraving. One weighs 48g, the other 53g. No dents or damage. HEAVY CASED STERLING SILVER SPOON SHEFFIELD 1888 Item #26965 A heavyweight cased child’s christening spoon in the Carrington Shield pattern, fully hallmarked for Sheffield 1888 and made by Walker & Hall (John Edward Bingham). Monogrammed ‘DW’. The spoon weighs 39g. Spoon has slight dents to bowl tip from use. Unengraved silver shield to one side and good gold plated decoration to the other. No damage to mother of pearl. All implements extend properly. VINTAGE GARRARD & CO SILVER PLATED 3 PIECE TEASET Item #26974 A silver plated 3 piece teaset by the prestigious Garrard & Co of Regent Street. Deco period. Teapot is approx 1.5 pints capacity. All gleaming silver, no dents, clean interiors. The only plate wear is minimal and to the teapot lid hinges only. Sheffield made. Gleaming silver with some minor plate wear and some utensil marks to the liner tray and some shallow knocks to the lid and base rim. BEAUTIFUL STERLING SILVER & IVORY FISH EATERS 1885 Item #26979 This is a super quality set of 4 pairs of fish eaters by the prestigious Barnard family, beautifully chased pattern and exceptionally heavy gauge silver. They have ivory handles with an armorial device of a falcon on a wheat sheaf. Each piece is fully hallmarked for London 1885. Quite splendid, no dents, no cracks to handles other than a tiny one at one of the riveted ends. Lightly used. BOXED STERLING SILVER NAPKIN RING 1955 Item #26996 A cased sterling silver napkin ring by Lanson Ltd, fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1955 and in original Reids of Newcastle presentation box. No monograms/engraving. Napkin ring weighs 28g. The ring is fine other than one of the small decorated corners has either been resoldered or wasn’t quite finished properly at manufacture, it doesn’t notice much but mentioned for accuracy. BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE SILVER PLATED TEASET INITIAL ‘F’ Item #27004 A very good looking Victorian 3 piece silver plated teaset, each piece engraved with a single initial ‘F’. Teapot is 1 pint capacity. Probably made by Hodd & Linley of London c. 1870 from the markings. Teapot has a couple of minor knocks but no major dents etc. All pieces are gleaming silver with no visible plate wear other than very slightly to their undersides and very slightly to the teapot rim.
