TG GREEN CORNISHWARE GLOBE TEAPOT GREEN SHIELD Item #27066 This is a vintage T.G. Green Cornish Kitchen Ware globe shaped teapot of approx 1.5 pint capacity. Handle is cracked at middle but its still good and solid. No chips, has overall glaze crazing, slight staining to base. Lid has some underglaze shadow at edge and a tiny chip to its footrim. TG GREEN CORNISHWARE GLOBE TEAPOT GREEN SHIELD Item #27067 This is a vintage T.G. Green Cornish Kitchen Ware globe shaped teapot of approx 1 pint capacity. Nice scroll detail to the handle. Has a couple of tiny nibbles to its spout. Handle has a small fissure at its top join from firing but it has always been there and not a huge issue, No glaze crazing. Lid is not a perfect fit but does the job – it has some chips but not evident when in place on the pot, also some slight underglaze shadow. It is a useable teapot and a nice display piece. These were made for a very brief time in 1985 before being rapidly discontinued. Heavy! No chips, cracks or crazing. The underside footrim has a ‘thumbnail’ type mark in the slip, its not a crack.
