ANTIQUE SILVER PLATED CHIPPENDALE SALVER SHEFFIELD Item #26936 A salver with Chippendale style rim decoration, raised on 3 scroll feet. Made by H. Fisher & Co of Sheffield and will date c. 1910 Overall fairly good, gleaming silver with some minor surface scratches and a couple of small spots and slight plate wear at the rim area but it hardly notices in normal lighting conditions. GOOD ANTIQUE SILVER PLATED SEMI FLUTED FRUIT BOWL Item #26949 A very nice looking piece with swing handle and ropetwist decoration to rim. Raised on ball feet. ANTIQUE SILVER PLATED WATER JUG SHEFFIELD Item #27006 This is a nice looking early piece by Viners of Sheffield with faceted shape body and nicely carved wooden handle. Approx 1.5 pints capacity. Has a dent to its front base area but not so obvious when sitting on a table etc. Some minor surface marks and minor tarnish to interior. Gleaming silver, no plate wear. Made by William Henry Lyde of Birmingham c. 1890. Suitable for use as a bread roll basket etc. Gleaming silver with partial plate wear at the raised areas, some utensil marks to interior and a couple of minor knocks but overall a lovely looking piece. ORNATE ANTIQUE SILVER PLATED MEAT COVER SHEFFIELD 1867 Item #27145 This is a lovely looking c.19th silver plated meat cover with ornate bright cut work decoration and engraved with an armorial device of a lion rampant to both sides. Made by Thomas Bradbury & Sons of Sheffield and bears a diamond registration mark to interior for an accurate design date of 1867 (year letter ‘T’). SUPERB ART DECO SILVER PLATED CAFÉ AU LAIT SET W&H Item #27146 A very fine looking original deco period café au lait set by Walker & Hall of Sheffield c. 1925. Lovely angular wooden handles and tapering conical body shapes. The sugar bowl is original to the set, it has the same pattern number (17102A). All gleaming silver, no major dents, very minor plate wear at rims. The milk jug lid doesn’t quite sit perfectly flat but it is forgivable and it has some slight digs/knocks to its spout. OLD SHEFFIELD PLATE SILVER PLATED WINE FUNNEL C. 1820 Item #27147 This is a fine looking Old Sheffield Plate wine bottle funnel made c. 1820. Minor knocks mainly to the rim, no major dents. UNUSUAL ANTIQUE SILVER PLATED ROMANESQUE BOWL Item #27152 This is a nicely decorated c.19th silver plated swing handled basket bowl with neo-classical Romanesque decoration of soldiers, chariots etc. Glasgow maker. ORNATE CONTINENTAL SOLID SILVER CHERUBS CAKE SERVER Item #27180 This is a nice looking piece of continental cast solid silver (800 standard) with decoration of cherubs/putti and floral handle. Overall good, there are minor blips to the pattern but these are purely from how it was case, not damage. There are 2 ‘lines’ to the underside that at first glance look like small splits but they are also just marks form the casting process.
