ORNATE C.19TH 3 PIECE SILVER PLATED TEASET SHEFFIELD Item #27537 A good looking Victorian 3 piece set by Barker Brothers of Sheffield. Teapot is 2 pints capacity. Gleaming silver with slight plate wear, minor surface marks, one small dent to the jug. BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE SILVER PLATED SERPENTINE BUTTER DISH Item #27572 This is a very fine looking well made c.19th silver plated butter dish of clam shell form raised on 3 serpentine feet and with its original thick frosted glass liner. Gleaming silver, one small split to rim but of no real consequence. Some minor plate spots but these are hidden by the liner. GEORGE III CAST ARM STERLING SILVER SUGAR TONGS C. 1770 Item #27579 A good looking pair of cast arm tongs by William Chatterton bearing partial hallmarks of lion passant and makers mark only. Later ornate conjoined monogram of ‘NS’ to bow. Historical barely visible repair to one of the lower ends of arms, an exceptionally good job as most people would miss it. EXCELLENT STERLING SILVER & BAKELITE CRUET SET 1936 Item #27593 A very nice cased 3 piece engine turned sterling silver and bakelite cruet set fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1936, complete with spoons. Pepper pot is 7cm tall, open salt is 5.2cm diameter. Would make a great silver wedding anniversary gift or just a nice present for somebody special. Looks like it may have only been used once or twice and is very clean. A couple of very tiny rim knocks only to the salt and mustard pots. Silver weight is 92g. Good with average use marks, no dents, slight bowl tip wear. Bowls have some feint tarnish spots to interiors but these should lift a little with a Goddards treatment.
