GEORGIAN ENGLISH STERLING SILVER TABLESPOONS ETC 509g Item #27684 This is a job lot of sterling silver spoons including 5 tablespoons, 3 dessert spoons, 2 teaspoons, 1 large mustard spoon and a coffee spoon. Most pieces are George III-William IV period and makers include Robert Hennell III, Peter & Wm Bateman, Wm Ely etc. Most have monograms. All are English hallmarked sterling. Fully hallmarked for London 1933, made by J B Chatterley & Sons Ltd. No dents or damage other than minor knocks to inside rim of the lids (i.e. not visible when on the pots). PAIR STERLING SILVER CORNCUPIA PEPPER POTS NORWAY Item #27706 A nice looking pair of vintage sterling silver cornucopia shaped pepper pots by Theodor Olsens of Bergen, Norway. The lids are silver plated but are original/correct for the pots. No dents, there are the ‘usual’ pinprick holes to the tail ends of the undersides (not where the pepper resides) which we have seen on every one of these we have had in the past. STERLING SILVER GILT AYNSLEY COFFEE CUPS 1924 Item #27708 Here is a set of 6 sterling silver gilt coffee can holders fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1924, made by Charles S Green & Co Ltd, complete with original Aynsley coffee cans. Silver weight is 128g. All porcelain fine, no dents to silver, there is some ‘possible’ resoldering of a couple of handles but may well be just how they were made, the soldering is in gold as per the finish to the silver. STERLING SILVER HOBNAIL GLASS SCENT BOTTLE Item #27740 A good looking square based hobnail cut glass scent bottle with larger diameter aperture. The silver collars hallmarks are completely rubbed but will be early c.20th. Some chips to the base area at corners (in particular one corner) but all are fairly smooth and don’t notice much.
