ORNATE STERLING SILVER SMALL EASEL PHOTO FRAME 1914 A nice looking little easel frame fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1914. The silver does ideally need re-pinning but not a huge task. Has its glass. Silver has some small creases and knocks and slight loss at one extreme corner at a pin hole. It appears to only have 4 pin holes at the 4 corners, it could really do with another 4 along the midway points to keep the silver completely flat. The silver currently lifts at one corner. Some age wear to the velvet.
c.19th STOURBRIDGE MILLEFIORE GLASS PAPERWEIGHT INKWELL A very fine looking heavyweight mid c.19th Millefiore glass paperweight inkwell almost certainly made in Stourbridge. Unsmoothed pontil mark to base. One small smooth chip to base rim area, stopper has some chips to its tapered end. Minor surface scratches/small digs. No major issues.
C.19TH OLD SHEFFIELD PLATE & CAIRNGORM STONE INKWELL An unusual inkwell dating c. 1830. The lid is Old Sheffield Plate and set with a mult-facted Cairngorm stone. The glass is half-moulded (seam up to the neck and neck applied) with concentric rings to underside. Small chip to rim and a couple of tiny fleabites to rim. Glass stone is fine, it looks like it may have been ‘re-set’ at some stage from the silver coloured cement around it . The silver is fairly intact with no copper bleed other than to the underside of the stopper area.
ANTIQUE GUN METAL NAPOLEON BONAPARTE SNUFF BOX C. 1815 This is a nice early c.19th gun metal snuff box celebrating the Emperor Napoleon, presumably made c. 1815-1821. Quite good for its age, there is slight surface pitting to exterior and more prominent pitting to interior.
