STERLING SILVER 3 PIECE CHIPPENDALE CRUET SET 1960 a/f Item #27699 A 3 piece cruet set with Chippendale style rims, fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1960, maker Barker Brothers Silver Ltd. Has glass liners and 2 spoons (different makers and dates). Silver weight is 137g. Pepper pot is 7.8cm tall and the salt pot is 6cm long. All pieces have some heavier tarnish and there is some surface scouring from previous polishing. A couple of dents to one end of the salt pot. PAIR STERLING SILVER TABLESPOONS NEWCASTLE 1835 REIDS Item #27760 A good pair of sterling silver tablespoons in the Fiddle pattern, made by Reid & Sons and hallmarked for Newcastle 1835 but interestingly with the duty mark of a few years earlier. Reids didn’t use this makers mark until 1833. No monograms or engraving. No dents or damage other than a very tiny pinhead shallow knock to one bowl.
