SOLID STERLING SILVER GEORGE III 9 BAR TOASTRACK 1810 A splendid looking large George III toast rack having 9 shaped bars and fully hallmarked for London 1810. There are no visible makers marks. One flat end of the top section has a thistle armorial, the other a feinter crown armorial device. This item is relisted. Overall good, there is some historical resoldering to a 6 or 7 bar joins but it doesn’t really detract unless looking for it. The ball feet are possibly resoldered and 1 has a dig to it.
ASPREY STERLING SILVER GUILLOCHE ENAMEL VANITY SET 1925 A nice leather cased set retailed by Asprey and containing sterling silver and guilloche enamel vanity pieces fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1925, maker Henry Matthews. Comprises: 2x scent bottles, 1x powder/crème pot, 1x small hairbrush, 1x toothbrush box, 1x Asprey made buttonhook, 1x faux tort comb, 1x steel nail scissors, 1x mirror. Has its original key and lock works fine. This is a relisted item. The powder pot has a chipped rim although the lid does still screw on fine. The lid has a very tiny knock. The 2 scent bottles have slight chips to chip to rims but lids still screws on fine. Lids have cork to interior which is part perished. Small dent to the buttonhook handle. There is no damage at all to any of the enamel work. Mirror glass has some slight edge decay but still useable. Comb teeth a bit out of shape. There is some fraying of the internal silk lining and some minor powder residue. Exterior of case good with very minor scuffs.
STERLING SILVER ENAMEL VANCOUVER CANADA SOUVENIR SPOON A nice looking vintage souvenir spoon from Vancouver with multicolor enamel work to handle. No dents or damage
ORNATE ANTIQUE STERLING SILVER CIGARETTE CASE 1904 A fine looking small cigarette case fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1904 and made by ‘C.L.R’. It is engraved with monogram ‘AM’. There are some overall shallow knocks but they only really notice at interior. The silver is slightly flexible and ‘pushes’ a little put still shuts tightly etc. No interior straps.
ORNATE STERLING SILVER SUGAR SIFTER SPOON L&S 1896 A most beautiful sterling silver sugar sifter by master silversmiths Levi & Salaman, fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1896. No monograms. In fine condition with just some minor scratches to rear handle join area which are probably from manufacture anyway.
STERLING SILVER EASEL PHOTO FRAME CHESTER 1911 A good looking sterling silver mounted frame with wooden easel backing and complete with glass. Fully hallmarked for Chester 1911 and made by the Boots Pure Drug Co (aka Boots!). Will accommodate a portrait photo of 87mm by 55mm. Does have some splits to the silver mainly at the upper curved section and some holes to corners. Minor fleabites to the glass at edges, minor knocks to the silver.
STERLING SILVER LINCOLN IMP TEASPOON BOWLING 1930 A sterling silver teaspoon fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1929, maker W.H.Haseler (silversmiths to Liberty & Co) with Lincoln Imp finial and with engraved bowl underside for Codling Bowls Club Runner Up 1930. Very slight knock to bowl tip otherwise fine
TINY QE2 STERLING SILVER ANOINTING SPOON LONDON 1952 This is a very cute tiny sized sterling silver anointing spoon made to commemorate the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, fully hallmarked for London 1952 No dents or damage
STERLING SILVER BRIGHT CUT SUGAR TONGS C. 1795 A pair of bright cut tongs by George Smith II, bearing partial London hallmarks and will date c. 1795. Engraved with monogram ‘JG’ to bow. Slightly out of perfect shape to bow but in otherwise good condition with no damage or repairs.
HESTER BATEMAN STERLING SILVER BRIGHT CUT SPOONS 1784 A rare opportunity to acquire a complete set of 6 sterling silver bright cut old English teaspoons by Hester Bateman. Spoons bear partial London hallmarks for 1784 and have a single initial ‘R’ to handles. Slight bowl tip wear and small rim/bowl knocks. No major dents. Hallmarks/makers marks are rubbed to varying degrees.
