ORNATE ANTIQUE STERLING SILVER HAIRBRUSH 1905 Item #27669 A very beautiful looking antique hairbrush by M Bros, fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1905. Incorporates ‘hidden face’ detail to the design. Has some holes to the raised embossed work and a few small dents at sides. Bristles are part balding and ‘out of shape’ but still a nice interior decorators piece. BEAUTIFUL VICTORIAN SILVER PLATED ETCHED GLASS SERVER Item #27945 A very nice piece, this is a silver plated frame raised on 4 hoofed feet with central carrying handle and its 2 original pressed and fern etched glass oval dishes. Suitable for a nice double chutney/dips centrepiece on the dining table, crisps & nuts etc. The dishes are quite a nice larger than usual size. PAIR ANTIQUE ORNATE STERLING SILVER OPEN SALT POTS 1908 Item #27958 A lovely looking pair of open salts by Joseph Gloster, one is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1908, the other for some reason has no hallmarks, just the makers mark, but is obviously the matching pot – so technically we have to sell this pot as ‘white metal’ although it is obviously sterling. LARGE SUITE SILVER PLATED OLD ENGLISH INITIAL ‘L’ Item #27977 A good early c.20th suite of Old English pattern flatware, each piece engraved with a single gothic initial ‘L’ (other than the condiment spoons) and made by the same maker A & Co Ltd. Comprises: 12x dinner forks, 12x side/dessert forks, 11x dessert spoons, 1 teaspoon, 6 serving/tablespoons, 4 egg spoons with gilt bowls, 3 salt spoons and 2 mustard spoons with gilt bowls. Total of 51 pieces. Most pieces are very lightly if ever used with just some minor storage marks and a few pieces showing some use marks, the most wear being to the dessert forks but not at all excessive. BEAUTIFUL OLD SHEFFIELD PLATE CANDELABRA C. 1830 Item #27987 This is a very fine looking elegant tall and slender Old Sheffield Plate candelabra made c. 1830. It is ‘convertible’, i.e. the top section can be removed to leave a single stick. Green baised underside (replacement). Overall gleaming silver with consistent copper bleed at the raised areas. The base stick has a dent to its drip tray area but this cant be seen with the branches in place. There is some historical resoldering to the 3 light holders at their thinnest sections but its not too visual and doesn’t really detract from its good looks. Slight dents to the drip tray collars but these cant be seen when in place on the stick. GBP149.99 click here to view item in our store
