LARGE QTY ORNATE ANTIQUE SILVER PLATED FLATWARE CUTLERY This is a large amount of Victorian and early c.20th silver plated/EPNS flatware and cutlery, all items have ornate or patterned handles etc. All kinds of things from cake forks to teaspoons & tongs, pickle forks to child feeders, caddy spoons etc. A good lot for resale or metal sculpture. There are a total of 261 pieces. This is a heavy lot at over 7kg unpacked weight. Variable and as found. These have not been recently polished. Some are fine, some will have some plate wear etc.
ART DECO MILITARY GLOBE TABLE CIGARETTE LIGHTER 1932 This is a chrome plated table lighter in the form of a globe/terrestrium. If you spin the globe then the lighter case pups up and strikes. It is engraved at the rim ‘TYNEMOUTH HEAVY BRIGADE RA(TA) 152 (TYNEMOUTH) MEDIUM BATTERY RA(TA) 22 OCT 1932, so would probably have been in the officers mess room. Lighter is untested and not fuelled but the mechanism appears to work fine. The chrome plating is fairly worn with age. No dents.

Structurally fine, the ‘ring’ at the top of the stick is rusty (looks like thin iron). The lower end of handle has some minor chips but is still fine in the hand, not rough.

The silver handle has some small splits but its fairly cosmetic and smooth to the touch.
ANTIQUE 9CT GOLD MOUNTED COWHORN WALKING STICK 1899 A nice looking longer length walking stick made from an ebonised wood with ornate 9ct gold mount hallmarked for London 1899 and with later inscription ‘EEB 25th August 1900’ . Handle is nicely polished cow horn. International shipping is via Fedex (only) as it is too long when packed for airmail shipping. Shaft is structurally fine with some minor cosmetic wear. The gold mount has a split to its rear and a small missing piece at its lower pin join. Handle very good with minor cosmetic surface chips at end but still nice and smooth.

VINTAGE BOXED JUDGES BARRISTERS WIG EDE & RAVENSCROFT A vintage Ede & Ravenscroft box containing a horsehair wig. The box is labeled ‘His Hon Judge Ould’. One of a number of legal related tins, wigs and collars we have on ebay this week. Note that the wig stand is not included in this sale. Wig leather is a bit ‘grimy’ from age and deteriorating a little, some splits. Externally it is reasonable with a split slightly showing towards the rear top. The box has some water marks to its lower section.
VINTAGE JUDGES BARRISTERS WIG & TIN BOX EDE RAVENSCROFT A vintage japanned tin judges wig box made for one H.G. Hall Esq by Ede & Ravenscroft and containing its correct Ravenscroft horsehair wig. One of a number of legal related tins, wigs and collars we have on ebay this week. Note that the wig stand is not included in this sale. Tin has some minor cosmetic wear and a small shallow dent to lid. Wig in fairly good shape for age with some use related grime to interior leather.
VINTAGE JUDGES BARRISTERS LAWYERS COLLARS & PRESS A quantity of vintage judges/lawyers collars contained in a thick cardboard box. There are 11x size 16 (41) stud/button on collars and 3x tie on collars. The box is addressed to Judge H.H. Hall. Comes with associated wooden collar press. One of a number of legal related tins, wigs and collars we have on ebay this week. In ‘good used’ condition with some marks to a few. Press is fine.
MILITARY 3rd NORTHUMBERLAND BRIGADE RFA TIN HAT BOX An early c.20th tin hat box for one L.A. Common of the 3rd Northumberland Brigade, Royal Field Artillery (Territorial Force). Has a cotton drawstring hat cover to interior. Dents to lid and body but still shuts fine. Some slight cosmetic wear.
ANTIQUE STERLING SILVER CHERUBS DRESSING TABLE SET 1903 A beautiful 4 piece set in the Reynolds Angels pattern (aka Cherubs) comprising hand mirror, hairbrush, clothes brush and comb. The mirror and hairbrush fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1902, the other two for 1903. Mirror is 26.5cm long (10.5 inches). Ornate conjoined monogram of ‘MMK’. Pattern is nice and clear to all pieces. Mirror – fine and useable, some very minor blemishes to the glass. Some dents to edges and slight rattle to interior. Hairbrush: excellent for age, just some very minor edge balding to bristles. Clothes brush: slight edge wear to bristles. Comb: holder is fine, the comb itself has lost a few of its teeth.
SOLID STERLING SILVER GUILD OF HANDICRAFTS SALT POT A fine and very heavyweight sterling silver salt pot by the Guild of Handicrafts, fully hallmarked for London 2000. Nicely planished lid. No dents or damage, some salt related tarnish to the inside of the lid (rim area) and slightly to the pot lid rim. Excellent from exterior.
