LOVELY C.19TH SILVER PLATED SPIRIT KETTLE SHEFFIELD Item #28631 A very nice piece by Philip Ashberry & Sons of Sheffield made c. 1875 in the Aesthetic movement taste, the kettle stand formed as a tree branch with bird to top- and the burner supported among a twig nest. The kettle itself is globular raised on 3 feet and 1.5 pints capacity. Pot is gleaming silver with some partial plate wear and a couple of shallow dents. The stand is fine. Burner just requires a new wick. GBP149.99 click here to view item in our store
STERLING SILVER PAINTED CERAMIC CANDLESTICK VASES 1913 Item #28632 A very pretty pair of dressing table pieces that were originally intended to be used as convertible vase/candlesticks (i.e. the top sections detach to allow a single stem etc. They have seen some repairs over the years and one of the tops no longer detaches as has been glued in place, but still very good looking & unusual things! The stems are hand painted ceramic in a gorgeous blue ribbon and multicolor floral swag decoration. Made by Napper & Davenport, they are fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1913. As above they have had repairs/reglue etc over the years that is perhaps not as neat as it could have been done. There are some dents to the silver and the flute that still detaches is rough edged around its base rim, but this cant be seen when in place. Due to the repairs their heights differ by about 0.5cm. Hallmarks are part rubbed. GBP119.99 click here to view item in our store

Otherwise fine. GBP34.99 click here to view item in our store
AESTHETIC MOVEMENT SILVER PLATED BREAKFAST CODDLER a/f Item #28636 A small coddler/breakfast server made c. 1870 in aesthetic movement style, raised on twig feet and with bright cut engraved decoration to lid. BEAUTIFUL SILVER PLATED COVERED DISH HUKIN & HEATH Item #28645 A very fine piece by Hukin & Heath probably dating c. 1860. Raised on superb rams head feet with lion mask and ring handles at sides, profuse bright cut decoration and a monogram of ‘WJ’ to front. The heavy and thick cut glass liner is almost certainly its original. Gleaming silver, no dents or damage, minor surface marks, no plate wear. The case bears logo of D.C.Rait & Sons of Glasgow, silversmiths to the Queen. By chance these pots happen to also make ideal sized egg cups for our modern ‘larger’ hens eggs! All pots structurally fine with some tarnish/verdigris mainly to interiors from salt use.
