ANTIQUE SILVER PLATED TWIN DISH STAND 1890 Item #28925 A lovely looking piece that would have had 2 glass or ceramic bowls to the main rings and presumably a couple of glass cruet pots to the smaller rings. It is still useable as most modern small plates (to about 8 inch diameter) and bowls will still fit nicely into the larger rings. Very nice shell and fluted design to handle. Bears registration mark accurately dating its design to 1890 and makers mark that we are unfamiliar with. Inside diameter of larger rings is 14cm (5.5 inch) and of smaller rings is 4.9cm (just under 2 inch). Gleaming silver, no plate wear, no dents or damage. GBP29.99 click here to view item in our store
ANTIQUE SILVER PLATED CLARET JUG INITIAL ‘C’ W&H Item #28926 A very nice looking c.19th silver plated jug by Walker & Hall of plain tapering form with ropetwist style decoration to both upper and lower rims. Very nice wooden handle and finial. Engraved with a single initial ‘C’. Gleaming silver, no dents, area of plate wear between the 2 handle joins but doesn’t really notice much due to its position. SUPERB OLD SHEFFIELD PLATE EGG CUP CRUET C. 1820 Item #28959 An exceptionally good piece of Old Sheffield Plate, this is an egg cup cruet stand compete with its 4 egg cups and amazingly still has its original cut glass open salt pinch pot to top. Swing handled. Tinned underside. The egg cups are nicely weighted to their bases. Has slots for 4 spoons. Gleaming silver with no copper bleed. VINTAGE EGYPTIAN SILVER NIELLO CRUET SET Item #28980 A nice early c.20th 3 piece silver cruet set from Egypt decorated with Niello work scenes of the Nile with camels, trees, buildings and feluccas. The spoons are probably original. Note there are no markings so technically sold as white metal, but it is made from silver. Height of pepper pot is 7.8cm All pieces are generally gleaming silver with some minor tarnish, we deliberately haven’t over polished these to preserve the Niello. No dents. ANTIQUE MOTHER OF PEARL SILVER PLATED 24PC CANTEEN Item #28989 A beautiful suite of 12 place settings of fruit knives and forks with mother of pearl handles and ornate silver plated uppers. In original purple ruffed silk and velvet lined wooden case. Overall very nice, gleaming silver with some slight brass bleed. One knife handle has a cosmetic crack but is still absolutely rigid. Abalone surrounding the square mother of pearl central panels. Overall very fine condition, some minor chips to the mother of pearl but quite probably just how it was made.
