STERLING SILVER CUT GLASS OIL CRUET BOTTLE 1934 Item #28869 A nice piece, the glass marked to base ‘Made in Great Britain Rd 753800’ and the pourer made by Hukin & Heath and fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1934. Great for serving olive oil or a nice salad dressing etc. No damage to glass, no dents to silver, the original cork to the stopper has perished and been replaced with a rubber one, it does provide a good tight seal. GBP37.99 click here to view item in our store
PAIR OLD SHEFFIELD PLATE WINE BOTTLE COASTERS Item #28957 A pair of wine bottle coasters with turned oak bases and silver on copper uppers. First half of c.19th. Both gleaming silver with partial copper bleed. A few small knocks. Both are missing their baizes to underside. LARGE ANTIQUE SILVER PLATED FOOD WARMER WITH BURNER Item #28992 This is a large piece by Wm Shirtcliffe & Sons of Sheffield with ebonised handles ending in ball terminals and removable warming section and original patented burner with ‘ratchet’ mechanism. Photo of the toastrack is for size comparison purposes only. No dents, overall gleaming silver with some residual tarnish (will come up better with some more attention). Burner still fine. There is a small dab of solder to inside rim where the tray has evidently been used as a soldering iron rest, it is not a repair! Doesn’t notice too much. There is a small leak from the top seam join of the spout which ideally needs a minor resolder.
