ANTIQUE VINTAGE SOLID STERLING SILVER BRUSHES & MIRRORS Item #25707
This is a bulk group of vintage and antique sterling silver backed mirrors, brushes, combs etc all sold together as 1 lot. These are mainly sold for the silver content, but some pieces are not bad anyway and could be used or resold etc. There are 5 clothes brushes, 7 hairbrushes, 1 comb, 3 mirrors with their glass, 2 mirrors lacking glass and 1 photo frame lacking glass (and a bit jaded!). Various dates and ages, all are fully UK hallmarked. As found, mixture of not bad and damaged as above. Not polished.

ANTIQUE CHINESE EXPORT SOLID SILVER PIN CUSHION Item #29925
A nice antique diamond shape pin cushion with pierced work panels of prunus and bamboo. Simply marked with a ‘KW’ makers mark to underside. The velvet is slightly grubby but not very bald. Silver is fine.
ANTIQUE EBONY TREEN GAMES COUNTER NUMBER WHEEL Item #29926
A nice old piece, this is a treen based wheel with rotating hand the points to a number between 0 and 9 when spun. Tip of index finger is chipped but otherwise fine.

ANTIQUE CHINESE CLOISONNE ENAMEL DRAGON CRUET SET Item #29928
A nice little suite of 2x open salts and matching pepper pot, all decorated with cloisonné dragon enamel. No missing enamel other than a tiny nibble to the pepper pot at neck. Overall minor pinpricks in the enamel from manufacture.
RARE QEII CORONATION LENTICULAR LAPEL BROOCH 1953 Item #29929
An unusual QE2 coronation piece – this is a ‘transforming lenticular’ picture that changes from Elizabeth to Philip when revolved. Suspended on a tricolor ribbon with safety pin to rear. Minor cosmetic scratches to the plastic housing and ribbon slightly grubby with age.
ANTIQUE PEN PENCIL SET WITH SALTBURN STANHOPE CONTAINER Item #29930
This is a fun old set – the casing made to look like an oversized propelling pencil and opens to reveal 3 piece pen, pencil set etc. Has a DRGM patent number 11747. The top has a tiny stanhope picture showing 6 scenes of Saltburn-by-the Sea, Cleveland. Minor cosmetic wear, no dents.

A vintage sterling silver and blue enamel sugar spoon by Askel Holmsen of Sandefjord with OSLO to handle. Has some surface chips to the white enamel of the OSLO area. Some feint tarnish related marks.

A sterling silver and enamel badged jam spoon for the coronation of King George VI in 1937, fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1936. Comes in a card presentation box. Spoon weighs 15g. Average use marks, no loss of enamel. Slight kink to the handle.

Small bruise to lower body but seems to be at the interior rather than exterior of the glass, it is absolutely smooth to touch from the front. Smooth chip to top side of stopper. Label slightly discolored. Fairly clean interior.

A nice older bottle with gold red and blue hand inked label for TR: ACONITI POISON: This one has an unsmoothed pontil mark to underside from the glass blowing process. EDWARD VII CORONATION MEDAL CLYDEBANK 1902 + RING Item #29942
An antique zinc or similar base metal medallion on ribbon celebrating the coronation of King Edward VII in 1902. The rear states Burgh of Clydebank and has the Clydebank coat of arms. Comes with what appears to be an aluminium ring bearing an applied brass Royal coat of arms. The ring is a UK size P (US size 8) Some cosmetic marks to the medal. Ribbon is frayed. Ring fine with minor marks.

ORNATE STERLING SILVER CHEROOT CASE AND HOLDER 1916 Item #29944
An ornately chased sterling silver cheroot holder case with hanging loop, complete with its original matching cheroot holder. The Case is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1916, the cheroot holder itself 1915. Some knocks to the end of the cheroot holder and the mouthpiece has been reglued although hard to see this. The case is very good with shallow knocks only.
ANTIQUE EXTENDING INK PEN AND CASE OF 12 NIBS Item #29945
An older extending nickel plated pen with nib on hanging loop together with a case containing a further 12 assorted nibs. Cosmetic wear and a few knocks to the nib holder but still functions as intended. Some of the cased nibs are a little rusty, many are fine.
ANTIQUE SILVER MOUNTED MEERSCHAUM PIPE Item #29946
A nice looking old pipe with ornate sterling silver mount decorated in oriental fashion and marked ‘W&W Stg Sil’ Cosmetic wear from use including slight teeth marks to the mouthpiece but no chips etc. There is a pinprick hole to the base of the bowl. Case has scuffs and is missing a small section of its housing although still shuts fine.
ANTIQUE CASED OPEN HAND FIGURAL MEERSCHAUM PIPE Item #29947
A nice old smaller sized pipe with bowl holder formed as an open hand. Cosmetic wear from use. The bowl has been deliberately part filled with clay to reduce the volume of tobacco that can be inserted. The mouthpiece is no longer tight (in fact very loose) and would require some binding or wound cotton thread to make it tight to the stem again. Case good for age.

An ornately chased English sterling silver cheroot holder. Hallmarks are rubbed. Comes in a stitched leather case. Silver weight is 2g. No damage, hallmarks rubbed. Leather case has some cosmetic wear.
WORLD WAR 1 LARGE CHOCOLATE TIN BOX Item #29949
A WW1 large chocolate box ‘The gift of the colonies of Trinidad Grenada & St Lucia to his majesty’s naval & military forces’. Original silver foil to interior (no chocolate!). Nice art nouveau motif to rear. Some cosmetic wear/dents etc. One split to lid above one of the hinges. Interior has penned ’1914-1918’ to inside of lid.
LOVELY VINTAGE PHEASANT FEATHER LADIES HAT 1960s Item #29950
A very vibrant hat decorated with pheasant feathers, probably 1960s. Its internal circumference is approx 58cm. Will be safely shipped in a box for protection in post. Minor foxing spots to interior lining, very slight natural musty smell to the feathers but nothing at all serious! Some marks to the top feathers at rear from historical regluing.

ANTIQUE CASED STERLING SILVER SEWING TOOLS SET 1910 Item #29952
A nice cased set of sewing tools, the ornate silver handles fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1910. The silver is slightly later, fully hallmarked for Chester 1918 and is quite a heavy one. Missing a couple of pairs of scissors. Generally good, thimble slightly out of perfect shape but no holes. Case good with minor marks.
PHILIPS RADIO CALENDOX BAKELITE PERPETUAL CALENDAR Item #29953
A lovely vintage bakelite and chrome perpetual calendar advertising Philips Radio, in the form of a radiogram. Made by Calendox Lovely condition, working order etc. Minor cosmetic wear.
LARGE QUANTITY VINTAGE BUTTONS INCL MOTHER OF PEARL ETC Item #29954
This is a nice vintage group of buttons including some fine small mother of pearl sets on card and groups threaded on cotton, 12 multicolor ‘deco’ ones, French jet etc. A good few hundred in total but not counted. Generally very good.
EARLY C.20TH NOVELY GEISHA ASHTRAY GET BEHIND ME SATAN Item #29957
A naughty novelty ashtray in the form of a Geisha girl with the words ‘Get behind me satan’ to front, to the rear she is exposing her bottom. We presume made in Japan for the export market. Unsure of the metal, it has a cast-steel type look to it but is lighter and not attracted to a magnet. No damage
CHINESE SWATOW PEWTER TUMBLERS HIAH WAH SOON Item #29958
A pair of stacking tumblers decorated with ornate bird and tree scenes. Made by Hiah Wah Soon of Swatow. One is slightly smaller than the other and they are designed to stack. Minor rim knocks but in good overall shape
EARLY C.20TH JAPANESE SILVER ON COPPER PHOTO FRAMES Item #29959
Here are 2 early c.20th Japanese easel backed photo frames with repouse chrysanthemum decoration, one also depicting Mount Fuji etc. Neither have their glass. Plating is worn to both exposing copper. Rear easel stand of the Fuji one is broken but can still be stood up, it needs some tape or pins. No glass to either.
ANTIQUE 12FT/3.75m HAND PAINTED JAPANESE SAMURAI SCROLL Item #29960
This is a super piece of antique Japanese art, hand painted on an incredible 12ft 3 inch (3.75 meters) long fine paper scroll depicting scenes of Samurai men and women. There is a red label tag to outside but unfortunately it is too difficult for us to decipher. Very good with just one small edge tear near inside end of scroll and a few tiny holes and minor foxing spots. Colours are as vibrant as when it was painted etc.
ANTIQUE PEWTER QUART TANKARD DURHAM MARKINGS Item #29961
A nice old pewter Quart sized tankard with punch marks extending a good way round the rim and Durham marking etc, also an apparent date stamp mark of 1863 Dents mainly to rim and foot rim areas. 2 vertical breaks in the rim at front but very solid. Dig to handle at one side. Small pinprick hole to one side at base area, below the interior level so not a problem from a liquid perspective.
