ANTIQUE PAIR INDIAN SILVER ELEPHANT POSY VASES 132g Item #30310 A good looking pair of Indian silver posy vases decorated with elephants amongst trees. Technically sold as ‘white metal’, they are lower grade solid silver though, probably 500-750 grade as evidenced by their colour. Minor dent to one footrim, both stand nicely. HEAVY LARGE ECCLESIASTICAL BRASS 18 INCH CANDELABRA Item #30325 This is a super looking piece of heavyweight brass, very nicely made and adorned. The arms are detachable. There is one minor crack to one of the ‘S’ shaped arms along one side but its not that visible and certainly doesn’t cause any problems with use. The interior sconce fitting to the central stick holder is missing but again it doesn’t really cause any issues with use. Some minor wax residue. ANTIQUE CASED 6 SILVER PLATED NAPKIN RINGS EDINBURGH Item #30326 A c.19th case for 6 napkin rings by Hamilton & Inches, containing 4 of the original 6 ornate silver plated numbered napkin rings and 2 non-matching replacement antique silver plated napkin rings. Case has some scuffs, a small hole to rear and clasp no longer working properly although intact. Napkin rings have no dents or damage but show a little plate wear and tarnish/verdigris in places, they have only had a veryt light foam polish so should come up better with some work – still look quite good. ANTIQUE CASED 6 SILVER PLATED OPEN SALTS AND LINERS Item #30327 An unusual cased set of 6 silver plated open salt pots by one of the best makers Martin Hall & Co of Sheffield. Each has its original clear glass liner. There are 4 of the original 6 spoons present. The case is a bit damaged but still a nice set. Case lid is off at 1 hinge and missing 2 of its side panels. Could be reconstructed and re-hinged etc. Pots are all gleaming silver with slight tarnish to interiors. One of the glass liners is chipped at its rim. NICE EDWARDIAN SILVER PLATED EGG CUP CRUET SET Item #30331 A very nice looking early c.20th egg cup cruet with spoons. Nicely gadrooned base tray with central carrying handle. Gleaming silver with some slight ring marks/wear from where the egg cups sits and some small tarnish spots to egg cup interiors but overall it s a real ‘gleamer’. One of the spoons is a replacement in a slightly different pattern (3x rattail, 1x old English). Some of the nuts to underside are replacements but just mentioned for accuracy. ART NOUVEAU SILVER PLATED TABLE CRUMB TRAY BRUSH SANKEY Item #30332 A genuine art nouveau period silver plated on brass crumb tray and associated brush by Joseph Sankey & Sons of Bilston bearing registration # 468908. Plating is gleaming silver with some slight wear and tarnish, no dents. VINTAGE SILVER PLATED HOTELWARE TEA WARE SET 7 PIECES Item #30342 A collection of vintage hotelware silver plate including 3x teapots (1 pint, 1.5 pint and 2 pint), 2 water jugs, large sugar bowl and milk jug. Heavy pieces obviously. All in reasonably good vintage condition, overall gleaming silver, slight wear and handle split to the 1.5 pint teapot but smooth to touch, this piece is the only one with a dent and it also has a split along interior rim where the lid rests but it is still a useable pot. The mustard pot is damaged (lid off and finial missing) but the other pieces are ok. Silver weight is c.34g. Mustard pot as found per above. ANTIQUE CUT GLASS STERLING SILVER PERFUME BOTTLE 1895 Item #30369 A beautiful and good condition antique globe shaped cut glass scent bottle with ornate sterling silver lid fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1895 maker Thomas Hayes. Has original glass stopper to interior. Unusual swirl cut body with hobnail cross cuts and a finely star cut base. Glass is in overall very good condition with just some miniscule fleabites mainly to the underside. Perfect neck interior etc, perfect stopper. Lid has some very tiny pinprick holes but these can only be seen when held to the light. One very shallow knock to lid. Some minor residue to interior from previous contents. ART DECO CUT GLASS STERLING SILVER DECANTER W&H 1933 Item #30370 A lovely deco period heavy cut glass decanter with sterling silver novelty quadruple spout fully hallmarked for Sheffield 1933, maker Walker & Hall. The stopper is not original but works very nicely. Glass in overall good condition with just a fairly small surface chip to one of the ridged side panels and some minor fleabites elsewhere. ANTIQUE STERLING SILVER & GLASS DECANTER 1911 Item #30371 A pressed glass decanter with sterling silver collar fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1911, (marks part rubbed but just legible). Has some issues but has been fairly well repaired, still useable and is priced according to condition. Visually looks very nice. Stopper is not original but fits reasonably. The whole piece has been shortened slightly presumably after an accident and the silver collar remounted. There is also a section of the silver that has been repaired in a half moon shape. The interior of neck shows the repaired area and has some slight roughness and exposed cement, ideally could do with a quick sealant before being used in earnest.
