VERY LARGE VINTAGE SILVER ON COPPER CHASED SERVING TRAY Item #30918 A beautiful looking vintage silver plated chased serving tray, its scroll and floral design mirrored in the pattern of the handles and rim decoration. Very large sized. Made by Wm Suckling Ltd of Sheffield. It has a presentation inscription but it is on the underside of the tray, so not visible when in use or on display. Measurements below EXCLUDE the extra length of the handles, i.e. rim to rim measurements. No dents or damage, gleaming silver with some slight copper bleed mainly at the chasing. VERY LARGE SILVER PLATED & GLASS SERVING TRAY Item #30920 An unusually large size vintage silver plated rounded rectangular shaped tray with central oval recess and its original set of pressed glass hors d’oeuvers dishes. Tray has some slight brass bleed along one edge and the odd small spot. ORNATE ANTIQUE SILVER PLATED TEAPOT 2 PINT Item #30921 A good looking gleaming antique silver plated 2 pint capacity teapot with chased blossom or rose pattern to body, raised on nice elaborate feet. Absolutely gleaming silver with miniscule surface knocks, no real dents. Slight plate wear to top of handle and hinge areas. Interior nice and clean. WRAC/T Netball Trophy 1954. Trophy stands 23.7cm tall from base rim to top rim. 30.7cm when on its stand. Comes with 2 smaller trophies, one is unengraved and on plastic plinth, the other is a lidded cup engraved 17 Para Regt Gala Day 27.8.61 WRAC 22 Comp Large one: Gleaming silver with slight wear and a minor lean. Currently loose from the base but it is the right one. The shield pins are quite crudely visible to the interior of the stand. Unengraved one: one small upper body dent, has some overall plate wear. These were made for a very short time c. 1998 and are hard to find. Nice tapering conical shape. No chips, cracks or crazing. The rubber seal to lid is still good but it does force the lid up a little after a short while, so not ideal for physically storing biscuits. Retailed by Rattray of Dundee, Scotland. Note that it has a deliberate lean so that the flowers can be arranged to face, something that you don’t get with most modern vases. Gleaming silver with partial wear/tarnish. No dents. The interior glass stopper is a replacement which is quite a good fit although not perfect. Glass very nice with just some minor fleabites. STERLING SILVER THREAD SHELL KNIVES LONDON 1895 Item #30979 A set of 6 sterling silver handled knives in the thread and shell pattern with later replacement stainless steel blades. Handles are fully hallmarked for London 1895 and were made by Francis Higgins III. There is a feint armorial device of a cockerel to handles. Have seen heavy use and pattern/armorial and hallmarks are rubbed to varying degrees. FINE STERLING SILVER SUGAR BOWL AND SIFTER CHESTER 1912 Item #30986 A beautiful looking pedestalled sugar bowl with Chippendale style rim and reeded swing handle, complete with its original sugar sifting spoon. Fully hallmarked for Chester 1912, maker Jones & Crompton. Note that the markings to the ladle are more or less completely rubbed but it is definitely contemporary with the bowl. SOLID SILVER PUNCH LADLE INSET QUEEN ANNE COIN 1709 Item #30987 A good looking c.18th ladle, the bowl inset with a gilded 1709 Queen Anne silver coin within a star shaped pattern and decorated with grapes & vines. The bowl can currently be removed from the its handle and has a weight of 37.6g – it just needs a quick glue to keep it in place Bowl very slightly out of perfect shape but in good overall condition.
