ANTIQUE LARGE OLD SHEFFIELD SILVER PLATE CANDLESTICK C.1830 Item #31190 A tall Old Sheffield plate candlestick made c. 1830, just under 13 inches high. Heavy weighted base. Has had some repairs at some stage but still a fairly good looking piece. Gleaming silver with some copper bleed and overall knocks, historical soldering to the candleholder section and the base area of stick, also some soldering to underside which is not baised. ANTIQUE OLD SHEFFIELD SILVER PLATE CANDELABRA ARM TOP C. 1830 Item #31418 An Old Sheffield plate large 3 light candelabra arm c. 1830. Has a base stick insertion diameter of 2.3cm (just under an inch). Gleaming silver with some partial copper bleed. One of the candle holder interiors is loose but still perfectly useable as is and it wouldn’t cause any problems. Some knocks here and there, nothing too major. ANTIQUE SILVER PLATED 5 LIGHT CANDELABRA 17.5 INCH + SINGLE STICK Item #31420 A fine looking 5 light candelabra with beautiful rose pattern to body of stems. Stands 17.5 inches tall at centre and measures c. 17 inches arm to arm. Comes with a matching 12 inch stick so they can also be used as a pair of standard candlesticks as desired. Both pieces are baised. Gleaming silver with partial copper bleed mainly to the twisted arms and drip trays. There is some historical resoldering to the upper section of 1 stick and the other has some resoldering to lower section of stick that has subsequently perished and needs resoldering, its not a big job and the stick is useable as it is anyway, just has a little movement if forced. ANTIQUE SILVER PLATED 5 LIGHT CANDELABRA ARMS FOR REPAIR Item #31421 Here are 2 antique silver on copper 5 light candelabra arms in need of some attention. One is c. 19 inch spread across the arms, one is c. 17 inch. One branch is completely off to one of them and the other has some rotation of 2 opposite arms within the central shaft. They do not have their wax drip trays. They fit on a c. 1 inch base. Both gleaming silver with slight tarnish and minimal wear. Both have issues as above. PAIR ANTIQUE SILVER PLATED 10 INCH CANDLESTICKS Item #31425 A nice looking pair of sticks with heavy weighted undersides. Modern replacement loose fitting drip trays but they do the job and are pretty much the same pattern as the stems. Both gleaming silver, some historical resoldering to pedestal areas but nothing too major. One has extremely slight horizontal movement at the shaft in the base but it only moves when you apply any pressure to it, its fine as it is for everyday use. OLD SHEFFIELD SILVER PLATE 20 INCH CANDELABRA C. 1820 Item #31426 A tall Old Sheffield Plate candelabra made c, 1820. The base stick is 12.5 inches tall. Overall height just under 20 inches (50cm) and with a width of c. 19 inches (48.3cm). Some dents at the base plinth and the base is missing its weighting but its so heavy overall that it doesn’t really matter much, it is quite stable. Some historical resoldering to the stick and one of the side lights needs resoldering horizontally around its middle seam join, it is loose but sits well without solder by twisting it into the base of the light . Approx 1.5 pints capacity. Gleaming silver with partial copper bleed. Seem join visible to the finial. Some knocks to the pedestal base and very tiny knocks to body and lid. Interior is quite heavily tarnished. There is a thin line of historical solder to a section of the spout seam join to front. The underside looks like it may have been replaced at some stage to us. All gleaming silver – one of the small sticks has some slight copper bleed and one of the taller sticks has some plate spotting to its lower caused by wax drips. VINTAGE 3 PIECE SILVER PLATED TEASET DANIEL & ARTER SHEFFIELD Item #31470 A good quality early c.20th 3 piece teaset by Daniel & Arter of Sheffield, the teapot approx 2 pints capacity and having wooden handle and finial. Nice scroll design to the handle cap. Gleaming silver, a couple of tiny knocks to the teapot (hardly noticeable) and very minor tarnish to interior. Sugar bowl has some shallow dents to body towards the base area, due to shape of the pieces it again doesn’t really notice. VINTAGE COPPER WATERING CAN 3.5 PINTS CAPACITY Item #31471 A nice old copper watering can of 3.5 pints capacity. No real dents just a couple of tiny knocks to body, some historical small dabs of solder at rim and a gap at the arch above the spout area but it doesn’t cause any issues with use. It is watertight.
