ELKINGTON MASON EXTENDING TOASTRACK 1862 SILVER PLATED TOAST RACK Item #32361 Probably one of the first silver plated extending toastracks to have been made, accurately dateable via Elkington’s unique date marking system to 1862 when he was still in partnership with Mason. Has some wear and issues but still a great piece of history. Extends functionally up to c. 11 inches (28cm) Gleaming silver but has a fair degree of wear, still looks ok. There are 2x large ones (11 inch/28cm), 1x middle sized (10 inch/25.5cm) and 2x low ones (5.5 inch./13.5cm). They do require a polish up but will look very nice when done.
